The statistical yearbook provides basic indicators about population and labour resources, number of employed population by kinds of economic activity, labour turnover, labour conditions, supply and demand in labour market, unemployment rate, wages and salaries, labour costs, professional education and other indicators of economically active population. Statistical data on the labour market conditions of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2000-2010 had been included in the yearbook. Labour indicators are also reflected according to the State Program on improvement of official statistics accepted in international practice. Implementation of program created conditions for providing of international organizations with different kind of information about socio-economical development of country on base of international standards. Some indicators of the labour market could be precised in the future.
