Methodological explanations
This section contains information characterizing main indicators of labour market of country, employment, types of employment, distribution of employed population by kinds of economic activity, employees and own account workers and others.
Employed persons - consists of the number of employees and self-employed, as well as owners, persons working in family farms, also engaged in individual labour activity should be considered in the number of employed.
Employees are persons who signed a labour contract under condition of labour activity and who get a compensation in kind or in cash expession.
Own account workers. This group of population includes persons who provide themselves with lucrative work. Entrepreneurs hiring employees, own-account workers, family unpaid members are concern of them.
Since 1999 number of employed population in the country have been working out on the base of Classification of Economic Activity Types.
