Introduction
Yearbook covers activity of small entrepreneurship subjects which reflects their distribution by economic activity and regions as well as juridical persons, individual entrepreneur consider as a small entrepreneur subjects- comprehensive data on physical persons.
The Yearbook covers main macroeconomic indicators of small entrepreneurships subjects in 2005-2009, its share in country economy, their distribution by regions and kind of activities, number of employees and wage-fund, investment and basic data on financial indicators. For convenient using of information and for providing comparison between regions, all indicators were grouping.
The data in collection was afresh accordin to the new 3-rd version of the NACE, in the data of the previous years has done appropriate changes, at the same time, according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan on "Identifying of the small entrepreneurship subjects by types of economic activity" dated 20 April 2004, N-57 the changes of the decree by Cabinet of Ministries from 18 december of 2009, N-192 was accepted in the this Yearbook.
Note: definition of the small entrepreneurship subjects is realized based on number of employees and annual turnover according to decree of the Cabinet of Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan on "Identifying of the small entrepreneurship subjects by types of economic activity" dated 20 April 2004, N-57 (according to the changes on decree of the Cabinet of Ministries from 18 december of 2009, N-192 ) the criteria of the small entrepreneurships was as follows: in the construction and industry - number of employees less than 50 person and annual turnover less than 500 thousand manta; agriculture - number of employees less than 25 person and annual turnover less than 250 thousand manat; wholesale trade - number of employees less than 15 person and annual turnover less than 1.0 million manat; other branches of the economy - number of employees less than 10 person and annual turnover less than 250 thousand manat.
