The statistical yearbook contains main indicators reflected the state of level and development of education, science, culture in the Republic of Azerbaijan during 2000, 2005-2010.

Education – this section includes information on preschool educational institutions, out-of-school educational institutions, general education, primary vocational education, secondary specialized education, higher education and PHD program.

Science – this section covers information about scientific and research institutions carried out research and development works, number of employees, training of scientific manpower, volume of scientific research works, expenditures for research and development works, fixed assets used for research and development works.

All information is given as of beginning of the year.

Culture – this section reflects information on public libraries, clubs, museums, theatres, concert organizations, movie theatres, circus, and zoological gardens, cultural and recreational centers.

All data is given to the end of the year.
