The publication contains demographic indicators of 1990-2006 in Azerbaijan Republic, which characterize the process of change of generations as well as information on some socio - economic factors, which influence directly on population reproduction, the level of pre-school upbinging and education, state of disease - prevention service, behavior of juveniles.
The publication includes the following sections: demographic indicators; preschool breeding up institution; education; material living conditions of population; disease prevention service; social service; morbidity and mortality; juvenile criminality; by economic regions.
The present publication also includes information on birth, death and natural increase rates and indicators on general schools, preschool institutions children disease by economic regions of the country.
Data on Yukhari Garabagh are included in tables only by azerbaijanians.
Some social-demographic indicators which were published previous by have been specified on the base of results of 1999 population census.
In connection with several difficulties some or all information by some regions about birth, deth, marriages, divorces and morbidity cases in IDP families resided in towns and regions of Republic is referred to adequate information of populated areas but not occupied areas.
The publication contains methodological notes to the main indicators given at the end of the yearbook.
