Methodological explonations
The information in this section is based on the statistically processed data on date of birth of mother and information on marital status contained in birth certificate.
General birth coefficient - the indicator that shows the rate of childbirth against total population. It is, respectively the ration between the live births and average annual population size. It is computed per 1000 of population.
Age coefficients of birth are computed as ration between the number of live births, as per current evaluation, for women of a specific age group and total number of women of that age group.
Mother’s average age at delivery - the indicator that determined by multiplication of mathematical value of number of mothers delivered of all the age groups by the delivery rate by age groups.
Information about father during the registration of births, referred to live births in case of single women is made on basis of joint application of mother and father or, otherwise, on the basis of the decision of the court on determination of fact of father (special notes are made to the certificate on birth in this case).
